We entered our careers in the Seattle real estate market at the same time but with different agencies, both emerging from long backgrounds in sales and customer service. Gaining knowledge from the two front-runners in the regional brokerage community, we eventually forged an alliance about to enter its sixth year, with a combined 20 years' experience representing buyers and sellers in the Seattle metropolitan area.
What do we believe?
We have a firm belief that buying or selling a home shouldn't be and doesn't have to be the 'nightmare' many buyers or sellers expect. And if we do everything right for you, it won't be.
We believe knowledge is power and it's our job to arm you with as much necessary detail as possible about what to expect throughout the process.
We believe buyers and sellers have a common goal?to close the sale?and the path by which everyone involved can get there can be free from the contention that many people, right or wrong, have come to associate with this major life event.
We believe that recognizing and understanding the needs of our clients, even those that are unspoken, is key to reaching the goal of buying the dream home or selling to move on to the next one.
So what do we do?
We believe in our duty to work strenuously on your behalf, from our initial meeting to searching for, showing, and negotiating on the best home you can find as a buyer. As a seller you can expect the same hard work to price your home competitively, market it, expose it properly, and generate the best offer we can, to negotiate the best terms we can, and get your home sold.
So much of what we do happens behind the scenes, between meetings with clients, that it's no wonder much of the public thinks being a real estate agent is easy. It isn't.
Among other things we must constantly educate ourselves, keeping current on national, state and local requirements.We have to follow activity across a wide region of our area to be well versed in the market, as well as focus on the 'micro-markets' where we specialize. We forge relationships with related professionals such as title officers, escrow agents, and loan specialists, so that you will benefit from our knowledge of these people when the time comes. And all of this is before a transaction even begins!
There's so much more to our job, but we'd prefer to show you how we work rather than just tell you. When you see us in operation, it'll be obvious why we love what we do!
